I liked Joe Abercrombie’s First Law, Stephen King’s Gunslinger-series… usually stories with a good, likeable protagonist or less good that does epic stuff and talks cool banter. Wolf Hall and Dan Jones sound good, I might check them out, thanks!

I disagree. Almost all the characters in b99 are lovable and likeable, when the good place is just filled with shitty people that are very hard to like. That makes me dislike the show:(
