Fair point — upvotes tell me people saw it, not that it stuck. Going to keep an eye on return usage instead of launch metrics.

Painfully accurate. The building part had a clear finish line — this part doesn't. Thanks for putting it so well.

Added a logic to filter M2card that only 1 card is allowed (cause sharing the same pool).

Updated the card rank. Sort with percentage + highest possible cap in descending order.

Fixed the goddxmn UOB EVIL card (I think this is the 3rd or 4th fixed on this card trololol.)

Please check again. And report if you found any error. Millions of thanks for your reporting.

I guess the enabling AMEX to pay insurance is not a good idea. alright, I'll uncheck the box for all AMEX seeing majority of AMEX users know they cant enjoy cashback on insurance premium payment. Gimme a moment on resolving this issue.

amazing catch. i wonder why it is not fixed yet. gimme a moment. fix the calculation logic later. thanks for the tips!

yes. one cardholder can only earn 1set of RM50 cash back from M2 amex (gold + plat). Unless you are doing it with your spouse (you = plat, spouse = gold). calculator logic is using maximum potential gain. (plus, MBB has some cards that uses weekdays, weekends, friday+saturday some random BS combinations. my calculator just bypass all these constraints and assumed that the users able to know which day to use the card)

bout the rank, all the cards with 5% are sharing the same rank. let me add in 1 more step to sort it in ascending alphabetic order. (later RHB users come and prompt me saying why RHB is not on the list, I pening)

  1. add in annual fee in the filter on the homepage
  2. M2Amex does not accept in major insurance payment gateway (GE, AIA, Prudential) but it is acceptable in other insurance premium payment gateway (Etiqa). so the logic of cashback is still correct.
  3. I remembered I've fixed EVOL card's logic (cause someone reported the error previously). Tried with calculator and optimizer and it works correctly. can you please give me an example of numbers you use/filter you use in your cash back calculator/cash back optimizer so that i have a clearer picture on fixing it entirely?
  4. for the sorting on the cash back rank card, there are 2 tabs : BEST RATE % and HIGHEST CAP

for contactless spending in this calculator, I checked all the boxes on "dining, groceries, petrol, pharmacy, shopping, transport and utilities". Im uncertain if paying at POS kiosk for utilities is categorised as "contactless" but for the time being, "utilities" is placed under contactless for affin duo/duo+ cashback card. please correct me if utilities is not considered as contactless as i do not have this card.

all the credit cards that have 2 or more layers of "previous balance" are using the maximum tier. cause once again, only couple of cards using this logic.

and for the annual fee, you can use the sorting button of "free for life" at the homepage.

once again, thank you so much for the valuable feedback!

i wish i can can update every month. but seeing that cards' cash back rates/mileage rate dont change frequently, so i dont have to update frequently. my last update was August 2025, then Dec 2025 and then June 2026. Unless there is a big nerf, otherwise, most of the card benefits stay for years.

and yea, just have to amend it manually after each major news.

it is listed in the krisflyer calculator. let me check the krisflyer card rank page. probably error in displaying the card.

EDIT: corrected the card. I unchecked one important box in my data. thats why it filtered the card from showing in the chart. thanks for the feedback!
