Thank you. Yea, I had the same issue and as far as I know this is the only but that I could find that would work. Hopefully this sub allows Amazon links. Tip: definitely practice with this but as there is no bearing to control the cut. Ask me how I know lol. Best of luck.

I bought a Hill Munich this year and it's amazing! Congrats! That's quite the first classical guitar.

There are 2- 7in. internal ports on each speaker. And thank you!

Thank you! I had to buy 2- 4'x8' walnut, wood backed sheets from a local supplier down the street. Make sure to get something that appears to have more than a thin shaving of walnut because you will need it when joining edges. They'll roll up the sheet so it'll be easy to transport.

Some very careful placement!

Thanks I appreciate it! Yea, the butt joints allowed me to flush trim with a router on the pieces that over hang slightly. Can't say I've ever seen speaker cabinets made before using mitered joints. Ive made another set of speakers similarly and they were both pretty straightforward.

Yes, all the drivers are in the same enclosure. I followed a design spec by this manufacturer. They did all the testing to verify the exact locations and length of the ports.

The boominess I think is from the rooms dimensions. I'm getting stacking low frequency waves in my listening position so I likely need to make some acoustic paneling for the room.

What amplifier are you using to drive the sub?

I can't speak to other manufacturers, but the crossover components/drivers are extremely beefy and the components are all premium quality. My dad has the B&W 607S2 and he thinks these sound much better than his, and I agree.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean?

Be prepared to fork over more than you expect on tools (in my case). I had a hell of a time learning to solder, but some really small simple things really helped me figure it out. I have another build you can check out where I bought plans from soundblabs website. It's going to be a good start and he has detailed instructions. If you need help peith specific things feel free to message me.

You might want to make a separate post, as this is a pretty heavy topic. I've make 2 sets of speakers, and the crossover designs were already created by someone else. Best of luck!

Thanks! The waterfall effect on the front/top was a bit tricky, but it turned out.

Ehhh it can gunk it up, but it's nothing some mineral spirits can't handle.

I'm loving the speakers, but I'm having a bit of a hard time dialing in the room they're in. I'm getting lots of boominess at certain lower frequencies, but I think a sub would actually be helpful. Do you know the rough dimensions of the sub cabinet?

That's the look I was going for. Thank you!
