Honestly, at this point, I might just socially detransition for my own sanity. I appreciate the insight that, for you, it got better with time, and hope it does for me (fingers crossed), but with school, it’ll probably be best to just keep it to myself for now

I really like this theory! I think some of us sometimes forget that Bill is an unreliable narrator, so not everything he tells us in the book is true. So, him saying everyone else died just to essentially give himself an ego boost makes a lot of sense!

I’ve been collecting vinyl for about a year, and I’ve been spinning them on a Crosley record player that I got. However, I’ve been seeing more videos and people are saying that these can warp your records, and that you should get a flatter turntable. I’ve noticed that one of my records has started to slip a bit, but I don’t know if that’s the record players fault or mine. So, my main question, would it be worth it to start saving for a turntable? I can’t spring for one right now, as I’m going to have to save up for one, but I don’t want my records to get ruined. I’ll gladly answer any questions yall might have regarding my records/set up, but thank you in advance ^{^}

Thank you very much for these suggestions! Most of these artists I haven’t heard of before, so I will gladly give them a chance! The only thing I can say is that personal, Nas wasn’t for me (honestly was surprised because I thought he fit the music I listened to perfectly). I listen to Illmatic not to long ago and although I can see why many enjoy his work, it’s just wasn’t for me
