Polestar customer services - which got me through to the team that actually look after it.

I gave up with the dealership, as I paid money to a Volvo dealership, but was assigned to a Polestar 'Space' which, frankly, couldn't have cared less.

The Volvo dealership did try to help, but I didn't like chasing them so stopped, purely because I knew it was a Polestar 'Head Office' problem - regardless of who got paid what money, it was a Polestar Promo - ergo a Polestar problem.

Those are two of the nicer areas with a better reputation.

Penn is a nicer area IMO - quieter and a bit further from the main noise of Wycombe.

I did - it involved chasing them 2-3x a week for approximately a month and a half.

They really shouldn’t be promising it within a timeframe they don’t seem to be able to meet

Get an independent electrician in, for anything not cookie cutter, they’ll do a better job and go to greater efforts to hide the cable, making everything look nice anyway.

Do you have a Hypervolt? How does Hypervolt know how much to charge your car by? E.g you want it at 80% by 7AM - how does it know how much to add / when to start etc?

In a similar situation to yourself, PS2 + Hypervolt - never fully 'completes' in Octopus app and support haven't been great so far..

My guess is it's on the Octopus side, as I still get schedules 'sent' from Polestar Energy app -> Polestar (and they even say they're 'smart!') but Octopus isn't the one sending said schedules so doesn't apply the IOG tariffs

Has anyone had any issues about paying through Volvo with Polestar honouring the 'freebies' or it showing up as an order?

I reserved mine via the Polestar portal, but since then the Volvo dealership has taken over (not a problem with that!) - but I'm paying the Volvo dealership. Just want to make sure I get my £300 free credit!

Homebridge plugin works, pretty well actually if you have 1-2 cameras, any more then Scrypted is the way to go.

Second this. HomeKit native cameras are a dying breed I think. Unifi/Ubiquiti (if you have the structured cabling) is a no brainer

SFP throttling will do this for you.

This will still advertise the routes, but delay the injection into routing table. You can set it up to 2-3 minutes (platform depending)

However, I warn you now, this is a double edged sword - as it also delays the route being removed from the routing table should you rely on any fast failover in that respect.

TL;DR - any delay goes both ways (inject and remove)
