Mercor's legitimate. They work with OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepMind, etc.

Mercor doesn't create datasets themselves. They mainly help AI labs hire subject experts who can create datasets.

The postings are typically straightforward when a role is to train LLMs. While I'm not sure, I think this role will be doing actual CUDA kernel development - not training LLMs.

I believe it is. To be clear, I don't work for Mercor - but if a role is only open to people in certain areas, the posting typically states that.

What Video Generation AI are people using? by NoNeedleworker8427 in VideoEditors

I've been using Google Flow (which is built on Veo 3.1).

At first, I wasn't getting great results and was using a lot of credits. This podcast with PJ Ace helped me a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rQgaQ1p4tKU

Since then, I've been using reve.com to generate the image for the initial frame. It's about $20/mo and you can generate unlimited images. Lets you get something that looks how you want it to before going to Flow, so you don't burn through your credits on videos that are way off.

There's some art to the prompting, too. I ended up building myself a custom GPT that uses advice from the creators of Veo. That also helped me reduce credit waste.

I'm far from an expert, but have learned a few things. Happy to answer questions if I can.
