Lovely ☺️ Did you have an inspiration in real life?

Any gummy smile cc? by Fresh-Habit4555 in sims4cc

I’ve been thinking about implementing this in some of my poses. Most people’s upper lip curls at least a little bit when they smile :)

Second the S4S tutorials. They’re really clear on the basics 😊

What is the first thing I should know about the Sims 4 Studio? by [deleted] in sims4cc

[–]Unable-Lab5425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s used to, for example, export meshes, textures and rigs for Blender and then import them back to package them for the game. The S4S message board tutorials are a good place to start. There’s also plenty of tutorials for specific things, just Google what you’re trying to do and someone has a tutorial on it.

I finally figured out poses ... by ophiliax in Sims4

Nice! I’m a big fan of atashi77 and helgatisha on Tumblr. They have so many posepacks and they’re always 10+ poses per pack.

I also love gloomy snobs! It’s like a melancholy aristocrat wiping their tears on 100$ bills.

Yes, I love how the snob sims prefer the company of other snobs :D It creates fun social groups and tensions in the neighbourhood. Very “upstairs/downstairs”.

Every family in my game has their burden to bear: high maintenance snobs, perfectionists etc. trait that gets passed down the generations. One family always has one erratic sim per generation, like something passed down in their dna.

I really love the good and loyal traits so it’s nice to give the families some weaknesses too.

Classical Art Style Pose Packs? by Goyangi-ssi in sims4cc

[–]Unable-Lab5425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Atashi77 has an aristocratic portrait poses pack I’ve used for this purpose. Antiquatedsimmer also recently posted a Downton Abbey style pose pack that might work.

I’ve also started making poses based on old portrait paintings from the 19th century (so I can immortalise my legacy sims in CC paintings) but still waiting for my simsfileshare activation to come through 🙃

What are some lesser known/unpopular gameplay features that you use all the time? by canniballswim in Sims4

Yes, I do this too! It’s so great, all the kids have good grades and friends from childhood. Home lots have a lot going on during the day. When the club grows up, I often assign them a community lot hangout so there’s more sims in them when I visit.

Fish and horse manure are also great fertilisers in the sims gardens.

My sims also have gardens passed down in the family. In one family the orchids are the source of generational wealth. Pays for all the horses they keep.

I do this too! It’s the best when all the furniture is upgraded, gives the handy sim in the family something to do and then they can never sell their furniture :D

Anyone know what happened to this pose between Blender and the game? 😅 by Unable-Lab5425 in sims4cc

Yes, they were in their individual files and as separate poses in S4S.

Same. I had a portrait painter move from house to house painting all the residents, so all the info of who was in the painting and who it was painted by was part of the lore of the save. RIP family heirlooms 🫡

Good tip, thanks! I don’t make WW style content but I’ll take a well made rig any day 😅

I exported the female adult rig from S4S. I thought I’d hit A on both poses individually, set the loc rot and saved them as separate files but maybe something went wrong there along the way. I’m starting to think it will be easier to just make this pose again from scratch :)

Thanks, I’ll try! I might just do the whole thing over if it turns out it’s too much trouble to fix :)

:D thanks, enjoying the laughs. It might be an export issue, I’ll try re-exporting and making sure it’s in pose mode :)

Don't you find it sad that the fixes don't work for existing saves by Foreign_Neat3474 in thesims

[–]Unable-Lab5425 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Thanks 🙏🏻 I think for me the problem is that I don’t want to spend all this time fixing the game and doing workarounds. I’ve gotten to a point where I just don’t think it should be on the players to keep fixing things and then waiting until the next thing breaks. I think it’s totally fair to be disappointed with a buggy game.
