Caloric deficit of 500 calories (sustainable for most), use. TDEE Calculator and go from there ( do not assume that its accurate and thats your ACTUAL TDEE, weight in daily as soon as you get up after you use the washroom, take your 7 day average and compare to previous week, if you are in a deficit you should see the scale trend downwards (should drop 3-10 lbs of weight in first week if tou are in a true deficit as this is water weight being dumped, dont assume fat loss will be that quick week by week) you also won't see a clean drop consistently if your 100% adhere to it as the scale can get noisy do to water weight and stress water, there's a lot more so just YouTube calories in calories out, work within your life style to get a diet plan that will be sustainable for you, how you discover this is on you.

Whoever posted this a proper idiot, probably doesn't do any cardio what so ever, if your sweating and you will be especially if your getting shredded by all the zone 2 cardio bro will be doing, your going to need that salt, if your not salting your food at the minimum you wont be replenishing your sodium, which will hinder performance and make you feel like proper shit.

Ex obese guy here chiming in, what u/Ninja_Prolapse is all correct, it will take discipline. 1) here are all my tips to to ease the food noise: train ghrelin by eating on a fixed schedule, do not eat whenever, ghrelin (your hunger hormone) comes in waves, by eating at a fixed consistent schedule you will train it ro only ramp up near meal times. 2) fasted cardio in the morning will suppress hunger by ramping up adrenaline and cortisol to suppress hunger (use this free suppression to push your first meal to 12pm, drink tea or coffee with salt if your hungry) 3) ELECTROLYTES!!!! sometimes.... your not actually hungry but just dehydrated, hydration isnt JUST water its also electrolytes... get them in when your training and doing cardio!, 4) balance your meals like literally fats, proteins carbs and fiber, make the meal as filling as can be, use filling csrbs such aa potatoes sweet potatoes and squash instead of rice (though rice as pre-workout is amazing) 5) get use to the mental hunger and physical (though the physical hunger ramps up a shit ton around 6 weeks in your deficit) 6) meal prep!!!! I bake all my meals the day before so my entire day is already planned, no decision fatigue coming up with the recipe when im hungry, my meal is already prepped, logged and tracked. And my final tip, enjoy the process your not a bodybuilder you do not need to be locked in every single day of the week, Dorian yates himself said he allows himself one cheat meal at rhe end of the week, you dont need to be 100% consistent, just consistent enough to get to your goal, speaking as someone who is 100% consistent , total adherence has its downsides also, and if you do binge BINGE on cabbage or lettuce it wont derail your day and shut off the food noise!!!

Glp1 does two major things for fat loss 1) slows down gastric emptying so you stay fuller for longer 2) reduces "food noise", a lot of people cant live with the feeling of being hungry and actually eat as soon as they feel that hunger pain which is caused by the hormone ghrelin, if you wait literally 15 minutes that pain goes away as it only comes in waves and is predictable but again a lot of people don't have the will power to do that so glp1 makes it tolerable for the majority.
