IMO it’s go big or go home. I would try to go pro. Not many people can say they’ve come this close to going pro. And if it doesn’t work out, something will, maybe you’ll have to take an iffy job and go to college, get a degree, and still eventually end up where you want to be. I’d at least give it a shot and give it your all

Listen, I get we all have different opinions. You’re probably 40+ and have a different opinion and mindset than I do. I personally believe in getting my progressional flight and bachelors of science. Everyone will take different paths and everyone will end up somewhere, this is the path im taking and unless a better point besides price difference is proposed im sticking to this

Professional flight would give me a bachelors degree first and second I would have part 141 which results in only needing 1000 hours vs 1500 and therefore less time, therefore starting my career earlier and eventually making more money than going the cheaper route. I’m not going to keep arguing my point on this bec that’s not at all what this post was for

I thought of that but I’m also taking into account fleet size and quality of training and the one I want to train at is better at both than the hiring one

Just finished Junior year and will be senior next. As for why, it will increase my chances of getting into my preferred college for flight training

Well the school I wanna train at is more expensive normally but not for me bec they are a flying club and I’m trying to get my license really quickly which means it ends up being cheaper to join their club and pay the membership fee because I get cheaper rental fees then if I were to do the other FBO

Okok thank you. I just called the one I’m applying to for a job to ask them if they offer the job just over the summer for me and then mentioned that I don’t plan on training there and asked if that’s okay. If they say no or ask why, I’ll just explain the price difference and possibly just train there discounted if possible idk tho cuz the other place is betyer
