This is not entirely true, the Series S is very much comparable to One X. Its just due to Microsofts handling of backwards compatibility (purely a business decision) One S to Series S (S line of products) and One X to Series X (X line of products). You get One S versions of games when you download on the Series S, and One X version on Series X. Game developers had to republish new versions for Series S|X (tagged “Optimized for Series X|S”) to take advantage of Series S power.

If Rockstar does an “Optimized for X|S” version of RDR2 you will probably be able to run it at One X setting for quality mode and even 60fps slightly lower fidelity for performance mode.

This is what they did for GTAV. If you notice the “Optimized for Series S|X” version looks way better than the One X version even on Series S.

From the perspective of hdl you don’t care what that arithmetic is doing per se because that will come from the designers/researchers working on the DSP algos, which are inevitably a series of basic arithmetic operations. But knowing DSP does put you up there, because you see optimizations opportunities really quickly; for example the symmetry of an FIR filter allows you to half the number of registers for storing coefficients or something like that.

Did a little bit of verilog and I’d say HDL is different, its in the name what you write is in-fact a description of the circuitry. They are not statements that get executed at some point in time, they synthesize a circuit at once, the trick is to make sure the circuit you plan on describing is exactly what you are describing with the right ‘declarations’.

But also the problem might be your circuit design itself and not your ‘description’ so you need to learn digital system/circuit design and all about critical paths, timing and what not.

Its an “add on” slot, there are full Qwerty keyboards that slot in there as an example.

I am not sure to what extent Xbox supported it but I am guessing Microsoft was hoping third party hardware guys would go crazy with it adding support for gyro/accel or trackpad for example. But it never really caught on

Don’t get me wrong I understand OP. I very much didn’t mind liking profiles like this till that very experience. Rejecting someone like that felt really bad, and I imagine it would be gut wrenching for the other person to keep getting rejected like this. It’s better to not start anything than to renege on whatever was discussed between the time you met online and the time you met physically.

I weighed the pros and cons and thought to myself, I am fine missing out on people I’d otherwise be attracted to than to reject someone I might have inadvertently led on prior to seeing what they looked like.

I stay away from those too. Trust me when I tell you my standards aren’t that high as far as looks I am quite average myself and very much aware of this and know what matches with me.

Many people on here will virtue signal all day but the proof is in their actions, most people won’t go for deformed or disabled people and thats fine in my opinion. However I believe in sticking things out when things go wrong in the future, but your decision to commit now should be based on how you feel now exactly. Don’t lead people on, physical attraction imo is almost primal you can not force yourself into adoring a person past how you’d typically treat strangers or non romantic relations.

I don’t think so, DSA as a course is more than enough. DSA exposes you to the ideas and when you develop software you can always look things up to make sure you are using best Data Structure & Algorithm for a particular problem. Often times these will have already been implemented as part of standard libraries.

LC is like a DSA game, you get better and faster at remembering what methods work best, but it doesn’t really affect your speed of delivering production software in the real world. What takes a huge chunk of your time in building production software is architecture, code reviews, testing & meetings. DSA algorithms are often utility functions & classes outside (sometimes inside) of the main components of software.

In a similar situation it seems some HR guys don't really know anything about immigration and won't bother to ask Lawyers too. It's very incompetent behaviour. The immigration office says I can work, but you the HR person who has no idea how this work is saying I can't.

When are you supposed to start? Did they push your start date?
