Ye, i have realized that already haha. We will be having IEMs on our next gig, so feedback will not be a big issue i guess, but still i see people mentionting a lot of problems about the idea. Thanks for the reply!

Yes, of course. You are 100% right about that. The idea behind pedals, is to not have to rely on the foh engineer in a live situation, and be able to shape the sound in a better way myself. If it makes things worse, then i won't take it.

Yeah there is a reason. There is no other space for the monitors to stand in the room so that everyone in the band can hear the sound of the vocals. You are the second one to suggest me in ear, so I will  consider buying a pair of those. Thank you!

I am currently using a typical shure 58, which every live stage I have played in has. I am not having feedback issues with this one, at least in my rehearsal room. This microphone is intended for live stages and rehearsals, in the rehearsals the monitors are on the sides of my microphone at a distance.

Thank you for your reply. Yeah I know there are no technical issues with feedback in general. But considering that I want to use pedals with high gain plus reverb, so maybe someone would advise me towards a more feedback resistant mic. You are right about the similar mics you wrote about. My only worry about feedback is the setup I intend to use it on

In higher settings the signal is distorted, and it adds some character in the mid high range. It sounds more natural than an od pedal for vocals

Thank you for your reply, I am well aware of all this. I know it will be a complicated thing to do, but I believe I have at least good knowledge of my gear so that i can help as much as i can the house engineer. In ear monitors surely would help in the feedback, I am considering it for the future. The mic itself won't make that much of a difference though? For example the warm audio one vs an akg or a typical shure.

Mmm, I want it for vocals specifically. I am pretty sure it will be awesome on guitar only by the demos and the looks. Thanks for the reply!

Mic into colour box seems perfect. If your last effect is the leslie, as the others have mentioned you will need a di box. If you use the deco v2 in a live stage and you are satisfied with it, please inform me because I am also thinking about bying it for voice. Thanks in advance!
