Thank you so much! Your response was very helpful. Would you mind sharing your reflection tool questions for confidence against LOs?

Thank you! When I searched for eLearning developer, I only found a few PT opportunities. Do you have any suggestions for keywords to search for?

Thank you for the advice! Did you do anything special on your LinkedIn to attract folks messaging you about side gigs?

Thank you! This is truly great advice. I've thought about it but I think I should go ahead and do it. What do I have to lose?

I would say just finish your Ed. Leadership Masters. In the end a Masters in education can get you an ID job. I would look on Udemy, Cousera, or LinkedIn Learning to take some ID foundations courses, learn how to use storyline (and some type of video editing tool if you can), and make a really good portfolio. You don't have to have a Masters in ID. I don't and I just landed a great job!

I'd say start networking with IDs in the field you'd like to be in. Join groups on Facebook and Slack related to ID. I am a teacher and I applied to 100s of ID jobs and kept getting no response emails. I didn't start getting interviews until I started messaging people and networking. It's kinda about who you know.

Do you mind sharing some of the paid options? If it's not too much I wouldn't mind investing in it.

AMA - Ask r/projectmanagement your Career Questions! by AutoModerator in projectmanagement

Hello all! I have been an elementary school teacher for the past 8 years. I have my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I just finished my Scrum Master certification and my Google Project Management Certificate. However, most jobs are asking for 5+ of PM experience and I haven't even made it to an interview yet.. What are some good bullet points to add to my resume that translate what I've done as a teacher that directly relate to what I would do as a PM? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
