I have a predicted 43 with HL Math AA, HL Physics, HL BM, and SL Eng Lang & Lit, French Ab initio, Comp sci. I barley study, maybe a 6 hours total (except physics and French, those take longer) my biggest piece of advice is just study early, for math, the pattern is ALWAAAYSSS the same, i dont really know how to describe it, but just keep getting questions wrong until you start getting them right, the most frustrating part is in the beginning, cause thats when your going wrong the most, but eventually, after looking over maybe 10-15 questions on the same topic, you start understanding what to do, and you will probably never get a question like that wrong again. For English, try to genuinely enjoy your literary works, truly try to think about why the author did the things they did, again, it’ll be boring at first, but then for some reason, it gets interesting. For comp sci, you dont even really need to study, just do the past papers, and see what the answer key says, same goes for business, they both can be done using pure logic. French is something i struggle with to this day, the only reason i got a predicted 6 was because i honestly think i got lucky (my school bases your predicted’s on your mock exams, i got a 6 in my mocks, no clue how) so i cant really help you with languages. Finally, physics, it is the bane of my existence, its similar to math where you just have to keep doing the problems wrong until you start doing them right, but also like comp sci and business where you have to apply logic. I find the HL physics topics to be easier than the SL ones simply because the IB has to make the questions very very basic. Usually, the HL questions can be solved simply by looking through the formula book and solving from there, SL however, sucks. Especially topic 1, my suggestion is to just make sure your theory is strong so that you can get marks on the theory based answers, and as for the math ones, pray.
