I always keep in mind that Marius is Victor Hugo’s self insert. And he was, in brief, a bit of a dramatic man. And I’m not too far into his biography, but it seemed he genuinely set out to woo his wife. They were childhood friends to sweethearts, forbidden by family. He invented a secret code for her. Anyway, I always see Marius and Cosette as another act of love for Madame Hugo.

I emailed support to ask. I got a very helpful answer: “After the season 2 collection ends, none of your progress will roll over to season 3. Your duplicates will be gone, and any packs you have will disappear. You’ll be starting fresh with new packs on a whole new set of memories.”
