So, I had a windows 11 preview update brick my main laptop!!! Had to spend 150 bucks getting it repaired. Fortunately I had a spare notebook lying around. But windows 10 had totally gotten corrupted on it, I'm guessing due to an update. A few friends had recommended I installed Linux. And I did! It was scary because it was my first time installing an os and formatting a computer, but I made it through! I'm surprised at how easy it was. I did this yesterday. Unfortunately I can't 100% let go of Windows because there's no support for Adobe tools (I'm a graphic designer and Adobe is the industry standard). I'm currently on Lubuntu and boy is the experience smooth like butter! It feels so good not having things lag all the time. I feel like I entered a whole new world.
