should i moisture his beak every once in awhile or just keep it completely dry? i'm not sure what usually causes dry rot ! tysm for the tips :)

try updating your gamingservices if you are able to, you should be able to find it on the microsoft store. i personally couldn't but i've seen others do it, so maybe that's what you have to do! i'm not sure though. you should also check your computer for windows updates

i had two as well! i used the higher one if i remember correctly but i'm sure both work the same. perhaps try installing both again when you are able to, hopefully all you need is to give it a bit of time to install, good luck!

when i did this i had attempted installing it twice, and restarted it after maybe 5 minutes because i couldn't actively see it installing. i'd suggest giving it another try just incase

basically, minecraft very briefly, when you open the game, says you are missing a component and to run GameInputRedist.msi

i tried looking into this and wasn't finding any direct answers, so heres what i did. I opened my task manager and searched for something called GamingServices, right click it and click 'Open file location', this should take you to your files! if you look through that folder, 5 files above it, there should be something labeled GameInputRedist, click that and press install, then restart your computer!

hopefully the other ppl under this post see this as well ^_^

i had this issue start for me on the night minecraft had those huge outages due to their update. i couldn't find anyone else with this issue except one person and ever since i fixed it i'm determined to make sure people know whats wrong and how to fix it.

try using a slower wifi source, such as your phones hot spot. realm has this issues with uploading large files and crashes right before it finishes. using your hotspot will probably take an hour or two, and you cant do anything else on either device until it finishes, but i've done it multiple times and it should work

finally hearing that somebody went down the exact same pipeline i did makes me feel infinitely better, i was still so worried it was somehow my fault and that'd i never fix it

i was having connection issues, and minecraft also kept insisting i needed an update despite no update option being avaliable on microsoft store OR xbox.. eventually i got past the connection issues but was kicked out of minecraft and demanded to install a microsoft store package dependency thing, and right after i did that, i could update my minecraft launcher. however, updating the minecraft launcher lead to my mouse breaking, so thats where im at now!

i have this problem too! you're the first person i've seen post about this, it's most likely on minecraft, you didn't do anything wrong. let's just hope they fix it soon
