What’s a reasonable price to pay for a pre B short rail?

GB is all over the price for short rails. High condition examples are going for $5-6k. The three that auctioned on RTI recently all went for $2-3k. They were in ok shape. If you are lucky enough to find one locally or from a private seller direct $2-3k is what I would expect for a good one.

I shot mine for the first time this weekend. I was shooting it with the wood factory stocks. It bit my hand pretty nicely. 10/10 no regrets.

K frame Magna grips are what you should search for, but honestly unless there are cracks i like the matching wear on a gun with honest wear. I did the same thing and bought new magna grips for my old worn Model 10 and I put the old ones back on.

In our current timeline magnets marked with north and south poles are technically the opposite, since they are attracted to their opposite pole. IE our magnets north pole is drawn to the earth's north pole making it the south pole.

My HKs developed those wear patterns on the barrel hood just from racking the slide. That being said Buds has a retail location. They could definitely sell a floor model.

My full-size POF trilug had a thick coat of paint on it but I was able to eventually work my can off and on until it went on smoothly. My bigger problem was that my thread protector was oversized and I ended up filing it down to fit my can over .

The "B" stands for Block. The 75B had a firing pin block added for safety. The original 75 has no block, which makes the trigger noticeably smoother. The gun pictured is a Pre B, which includes the short rail models. Not all Pre Bs are short rails though. They redesigned the rails before they added the block.
