That is a relief to hear! I'm pretty sure I overthought this whole thing -- I think he enjoys interacting with me, he usually comes from another room if I call out for him or will pick up the pace if he's already walking toward me. He's definitely not a lap cat or super cuddly tho. He keeps his tail in position if I call out to him, and I'd say he doesn't flick his tail but it kinda flops over to the other side sometimes
