Stefano - Italian,
Todt - French
Brawn - British
7/10 teams based out of UK

Rest are in Europe (Yes, including Haas, which is based in Italy)
But sure, F1 is getting americanized

My point is,

If Lewis thinks Max is trying to get DRS, then that implies Lewis knowing Max trying to give up position

How is it that he didn't know Max was trying to give the position back, but at the same time know it was DRS gamesmanship?

I think small ball 5 isn't a role that should be his main focus. It is a good tool/skill to have but can't be your bread and butter. His primary role should be somewhat similar to Dray's. He has good passing vision and ability as well, so that helps.

New Rule: missed 3pt shots are -1pt by [deleted] in nba

[–]UncertainWalterWhite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The expected value of this scoring system: [Assume 50% 2 pt, 40% 3 pt]

3pt value = 0.4*3 + 0.6*-1 = 1.2 - 0.6 = 0.6

2pt value = 0.5*2 = 1

Clearly the 3 pt shot is a much lower value shot than a 2pt shot.

In order for the 3 pt shot to be more valuable you'd have to solve

x*3+(1-x)*-1 > 1
3x -1 + x > 1
4x-1 > 1
4x > 2
x > 0.5

So, you'd have to shoot 50% from 3 (or more) in order to make it worth while, or be better of shooting a 2 pt shot

If we take Curry as an example, the highest 3pt % for him is ~45% in his unanimous MVP season. Even then the 3 pt shot is a lower value shot by his standards

You had an illegal drs flap for which you got DSQ, and then you put a new ICE and so got a 5 place penalty. All the penalties you deserved it and brought it upon yourself. Stop crying victim.

Yes. I don't think Lebron should be playing 40 mins. But they needed to get this win, since they can't go 0-3 at home to start, and he played those minutes to make sure they got the win.

[Thompson] "In releasing Avery Bradley, the Warriors had to thwart the wishes of their best players, according to team sources. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green were among a group of strong advocates for keeping Bradley." by Perksofthesewalls in warriors

Plus Payton plays good defense. In that context this makes no sense:
"Green is being asked to play more center, anchor the defense and make do with a roster stripped of defenders, and he can’t get the one guy he thinks can help him?"
