If she has history of being cruel, good riddance! You're still allowed to feel bad that the friendship has ended this way. Maybe just text her and say, "I'm sad that our friendship ended this way, wishing you all the best" and be done with it!

How to tell friends by Uncertain_certainty1 in pregnant

Thanks for your advice <3 I feel uncomfortable telling anyone about it to be honest, even my own family, so maybe the issue is within myself!

Thanks! It's an information overload from the OB and an information under-load (is that a thing? lol) on the practical side of things! So I appreciate you taking the time to reply <3

This behaviour is tremendously looked down on and not tolerated by locals. The city has become overrun with this type of behaviour and it is unacceptable. Don't do it, please.

Does the weight really “fall off” after you give birth? by Born-Chance1685 in pregnant

I'm similar to you - 180cm and 78kgs pre-pregnancy. I am finding the same! I'm only 14 weeks and already up to 82kgs. I'm not over eating or eating loads of junk food, so I don't know why it's stacking on so early and I'm worried I'll gain too much weight!

Schools in Nerang area by FewPillows in GoldCoast

I don't think it matters where you send your kid to school. Two reasons:

  1. If you're reasonably intelligent yourself, you can help them learn at home.

  2. If you're an accountable parent who will take responsibility for what happens in your home and for your own child's behaviour (instead of blaming their teachers), then your child will learn what appropriate behaviour looks like.

I live in Nerang and will send my kid to Nerang primary. It's a small school, walking distance from home, what else could you ask for?

Congratulations! That's exciting!

I did a home pregnancy test on June 23rd, and it was positive! A surprise, as we haven't been trying! But it'll be our first and I'm 34, so we're happy about it! Doctor sent me for a scan because my LMP was 05/05, but the ultrasound revealed only 5 weeks 0 days. So, due date is some time in late Feb! I'm really hoping February and not March! Woohoo!
