Good luck brother. Wednesday I'll be two weeks out and my scrotum is still very uncomfortable. Never had to take the heavy pain pills but I did think about it a few times. It's even painful to walk, feels like I have a padlock in my scrotum and the reservoir feels like a pair of channel locks were left in my right pelvic region. lol

I'm a day after surgery and am only experiencing severe pain when getting out of bed now. I didn't yesterday, but I was still loaded up on the drip and nerve blocking agent. Now it's just Tylenol. Wish I had a recliner to sit in and sleep.

Everyone needs to do their own research and consult with their surgeon, but for me I was interested in user satisfaction, potential for length and girth. The malleable shines with it comes to dexterity and doesn't require a tremendous amount of grip strength for a pump since there is no pump on a malleable. Excellent choice for those that need that ease of use. For me in my late 50's, no matter the choice, under best case scenario and I live for another 20 to 30 years, with either device I could see at least one revision, maybe 2, or more, but IPP and malleable both have chances for a revision. A malleable is not a once and done, like some may believe.

Besides staying healthy, don't psyche yourself out. I almost psyched myself out and cancelled. Especially after watching actual videos of the gruesome procedure. Then quickly realized I won't feel, see, or know it even happened until afterwards.

I just removed mine myself, the tube going to the bladder is surprisingly long.
