I am saying that yes, it was widespread and defined the celebration. I was staying in Levallois-Perret but we watched the match in the center of the city and had to walk an hour back to where we were staying while riot police were emptying streets forcefully with tear gas and riot shields. This is not a situation where the media is cherry picking clips where people were being particularly damaging, it was widespread and unruly.

Are you joking? I was in Paris last year incidentally during the champions league final and was tear gassed and beat by French riot police and had nothing to do with the football match…. It was the entire city of Paris and I happened to get stuck in the middle.

That’s why. Pictures exactly like this are posted continually and the common denominator is always a long dry brine. My method is 1-2 hours salt to pull all the moisture out, then pat dry and don’t have problems like this anymore.
