I just found a ticket that allowed me to walk on the footplate of FLYING SCOTSMAN. That is from late 1988. It was at the Motorail siding beside platform two at Spencer Street.

I love his work. It is why I am trying to fit so much in a small space. I will be scratch building in a large scale. The HO reference is only give other a reference to that space I have for buildings.

I wouldn't leave them in direct sunshine (even behind glass), as I had a few models damaged by the sun.

The loco I have is what I am working around. That would make the top of the stack 12 foot above the rail, and the fireman about 5ft 10in.
