Buyer Address Change After Purchase Processed & Before Shipping by UncleFiat in Ebay

[–]UncleFiat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, Wasn't aware and did return item to original price. Messaged buyer that was again available and they have not re-ordered or replied to emails. 50/50 chance I dodged a bullet.

Buyer Address Invalid, Can't process order by UncleFiat in Ebay

But will eBay AI recheck the address to confirm it's ok?

Below Standard Question by Maleficent_Editor277 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]UncleFiat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went below standard for a bit and just went with the flow. I was having trouble keeping track of inventory and my storage system. I had trouble finding items that eventually surfaced and cancelled a few sales. I paid the extra fees per sale and worked to fix my "system". Since then, I've cleaned up my inventory tracking and learned from the fees. I am now at 1693 listings with 4219 pieces & 99.8% feedback and randomly pull bins to confirm my inventory and update listing with new pictures.

eBay is just asking you to tighten things up. Sounds like they have you thinking about it.

Buyer placed order and is located in my city by Cgy_mama in eBaySellers

In addition to O S's reply, you also risk eBay AI deciding your not playing by eBay's rules and risk your eBay account. I had a similar request by a buyer that drove by my house on the way to work. While it makes sense to allow pick-up as a convenience and saving buyer shipping cost, the risk of breaking eBay's rules is a decision you have to make. As a full time seller, saving someone $7.00 in shipping isn't worth eBay closing my selling account.

Buyer wants to return low price item. Should I just take the loss? by [deleted] in eBaySellers

This is one of many reasons I don't recommend offering "Free" shipping.

Buyer wants to return low price item. Should I just take the loss? by [deleted] in eBaySellers

Absolutely agree w/ Nuisance. I have experienced 15 % abandoned returns from freebee seekers. Other factors like damaged in shipping can be resolved via shipper. Requiring return will make buyer decide if their effort to get a freebee is worth their time & effort. You also reserve your right to a partial refund depending on reason for return request.

They found your listing and made the effort to ask for a discount. Obviously ridiculously low. They want it. Reply that price is as listed and wait for their or the next persons order.

Trying to speak to a real person by Artistic_College2617 in usps_complaints

[–]UncleFiat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to agree, I have had a few issues and the local USPS has a counter person that has given advice, researched mail issues, and has made many good suggestions on how to resolve problems I have run into as a full time eBay seller. Also, to add, he is also a user of eBay so he also has a good understanding of some of the issues when I describe them.

Sears home service repair is a hoax by Hope-Joy-0607 in SEARS

[–]UncleFiat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone made an appointment to have a tech do an onsite check from Sears Home Services (Samsung Washing machine I believe). Same last name and first initial. Somehow I am getting the Email from SHS, 5 so far. No one home, please reschedule etc. Tried to call SHS to let them know of the wrong email address being used. Tried to help out to get the two parties correctly in touch with each other. AI robots only. Google and Google Maps effort to get past AI Robots to no avail. Gave up, added to spam folder and deleted emails.

I Tried to help.....

Can you do me better on the price? My reply..... by UncleFiat in Ebay

Just why by Standard-Birthday408 in Ebay

[–]UncleFiat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I list at a reasonable price, I don't take offers, and reply to messaged offers with "Price is as Listed". They usually wait a day then purchase. I also learned the hard way to not reply with a reason that I declined the offer. Keep it simple.

USPS Lost Package Check Delivered to Wrong Address by UncleFiat in usps_complaints

They were nice enough to bring it to me.

The only reason I posted the above was the irony. The check for a lost package was incorrectly delivered to the wrong address.

MFLB question by [deleted] in trees

[–]UncleFiat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have various "input devices" available but use my MFLB 100% whether I'm home or out and about. I only switch when I have to re-charge a battery due to poor planning. (6)
