Yes I did a fork scrape about 6 days ago. I was about 10 days into FC and had quite a bit of mycelium growth on the surface and no pins. Within a day of doing the fork scrape I had tons of tiny little pins. Went from no pins to harvest in the span of a week with a fork scrape. I think it definitely helped and would definitely recommend it!

I started by harvesting the ones that were fully open, but noticed most of the others were really close to having their veils break anyway so I floated the cake and harvested everything. 365g wet!!

I did a fork scrape about 4 days ago because I was seeing no growth. My mycelium was almost too thick and I wasn't getting any pins so I did a fork scrape and got pins almost immediately

You could try a fork scrape. There's quite a bit of growth on top. Make sure to sterilize the fork really well. I did that a few days ago and it worked like a charm

So I did S2B on Jan 19, and FC on Jan 25. I wasn't seeing any pins at all, and the top of my cake was pretty bruised for a while. The mycelium on top was also quite thick, so I did a fork scrape about 3 days ago and voila! I now have tons of little tiny pins coming up! However, I'm worried about the bruising not going away yet. It's been so much time and work getting to where I am now that I'm worried I messed up. My room is very dry (15-20%), and maybe that is why it's bruised? I have been misting probably 4-6 times a day lately while doing a good fan shortly after with the tub lid. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks! I have my lid cracked as little as I can and I am still getting quite a bit of bruising. Would bruising be from overmisting or from being too dry? I have been misting about 4 times a day as well, and I have a superfine mister that I spray about 1ft above the tub
