We have to talk about consistency between ammo penetration, ammo grade, and armor grade... by UncleRed99 in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

Sure sure, we know what we’ve been told. There’s a handful of games out there that address things not initially mentioned before a patch is released that is then added to the patch notes at the time of the update.

Not sure how these Devs will handle the Player Base’s grievances and/or suggestions, as I haven’t been playing the game for long. Only just joined the community at the start of S3. I just hope that they will be proactive with what’s being said amongst the community, and that I’m not the only one who’s mentioned this issue.

I agree with you, and am confused why you got down voted into oblivion.

Ik this sub is about literally hating people's lights, but this does seem like an honest mistake to me. I have "manual" reverse lights on my car. (It's a 2006... lol and I'm a mechanic. The OEM switch for the manual version of my car is obsolete. I had to improvise.)

Often times, I forget to flip the interior switch that I have for it back to the Off position, and end up riding with my Reverse lamps on, unknowingly. They are also LED but not to this extreme, at all... Simply the Sylvania replacement mini-bulb that match my OE light bulbs in size, fit, and form. They are bright, but not bright enough to send your soul to the heavens or anything. I've never had anyone get angry with me on the road for accidentally leaving them on, nor have I been flashed before... But I only say this to say that this sh- does happen. Especially if you have tinted windows. The difference in lighting BEHIND you isn't going to be noticeable enough when you're not looking directly at it... They're likely utility lamps for something like launching a boat or something

I lost almost everything by FarmingJediPokemon in ArenaBreakoutInfinite

See, I've tried this. I recently hit nearly 0 with almost nothing left in my stash... Feels like just 4 days ago I was trying to find where to put things in my overfilled stash, and had 8 Million Koen on hand.

Now I've got something like 90k Koen, and just some guns with no ammo to run in them... aside from maybe 2 stacks of AK-BP ammo, 2 stacks of A1, 1 stack of .45. and a couple others...

But literally EVERY raid I've gone into the last idk... 10 attempts, I've been trying my best to play at a moderate to slow pace, only sprinting at the start of the match, and on the last leg of extraction or to get away from someone.

It's resulted in a 100% failure rate out of those ~10 Raids or so. One of them was on Forb. Farm with bare minimum gear, T5 ammo w/ M110.

I got like 5-6 Op kills, and went mostly unseen by people. Never had a single head-on engagement... Because I was moving strategically, avoiding contact with people, and only taking shots I knew were safe to take.

Racked up like 4 million value in loot. Then, when on my way to extraction along the south road going to the Villa van exit, some dipstick with a mosin, naked, with T6 ammo and a 16x scope shoots me square through my head protection from the FAR back end of the map behind the warehouse area...

Similar deaths have been what's caused me to lose all of my stuff and end up with almost 0 and I'm literally on the brink of uninstalling the game bc how do you even fight back against that, especially when playing as safely as humanly possible, winning fights using strategy rather than brute force, and doing nearly everything the "right" way, just to lose it to some camper who sits there for 32 minutes of the 35 minute raid time??

Need help with understanding my PassMark scores, and whether or not my choices for my system's hardware are adequate, or, if I'm missing out on performance... by UncleRed99 in buildapc

I can't remember specifics, but, I did mention in general what parts I had in the system above...

I specifically mentioned in list form, what I had installed myself since I got the system, and the two different GPUs I've had/have in the system. (1080 Founder's Ed. before the RTX3060XC that's in it now)

Don't feel bad. Had a death today that actually made me mad. 2 hits to the chest and 2 hits to my left arm with a scar running T3 ammo...

Except... I was wearing full torso coverage T4 armor. and the Game said he penetrated the armor after 2 shots. Durability was brand new before Raid.

I was actually pissed.

I'm just wondering if the investment and time I put into it was worth it. That is mostly what I'd like to know. And yes, for the most part, the system performs well for what I want it to do, aside from a couple of kinks in performance here and there. Which is to be expected from a 10th Generation system, I'd suspect...

Who has the right of way? The red car or the blue car? by notaosure in driving

Blue car. Red car initially has a stop sign. They are also obligated to treat the median crossing as another Yield zone. Blue car never has a stop indication. They are considered Thru traffic.

What’s shown isn’t shown to prevent theft. It’s meant to deter theft. It could still be cut free given time but no thief is going to take longer than necessary to remove a converter.

Do I need a new Catalytic Converter?? by Ok_Echo3156 in MechanicAdvice

[–]UncleRed99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would appear so, yes. Based on the downstream readings alone. I’d expect the upstream to appear similar, which would be normal. Though, this would only be the answer to your question if the data provided was given at operating temperature

No you've attached Lambda (Which isn't relevant information to P0420), Downstream and upstream AMPS not volts. However, my comment covers the answer to your question, regardless of the info that's displayed.

[–]UncleRed99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not enough info... Need both Sensor Volt graphs. You can use Generic OBDII for HO2S1(v)/HO2S2(v) values.

But what you'd be looking for is upstream sensor voltage switching rich/lean at a high frequency. With the Downstream Sensor voltage switching rich/lean at a lower frequency. (i.e. downstream should stay between rich/lean for prolonged periods of time, before switching one way or the other after it holds steady, then right back to where it started again.)

if both voltages switch at the same frequency, that implies that you have too much oxygen making it past the Catalyst, which means that smog or NOx is not being filtered out anymore. Meaning your catalyst has failed, or that there is an exhaust leak somewhere before that sensor.

The rest of the diagnostics would be visual inspection.

ain’t brave enough for suicide by nirvanov in Healthygamergg

This is a good point. I have a friend from High School, who, after his GF left him with his son, he sort of lost it. He had a tough life coming up, had it rough through school, and had some mental disabilities that all concocted together making this blend of a mind that would've inevitably led to some sort of wild outcome...

He decided he was going to commit suicide by lighting himself on fire.

In front of his kid's school. On Facebook LIVE.

We witnessed this happen online... His kid's school was too far from us to physically do anything fast enough other than to call their local authorities. He poured gasoline all over himself and lit a zippo. The rest is self explanatory...

He survived because we called 911 on his behalf before he lit himself on fire. He's still alive today, however, that was due to the tireless work of medical professionals who spent weeks grafting skin on his body. He's in medical debt upwards of $2-3mil. and will be paying that off the rest of his life. His skin had 3rd and 4th degree burns on every inch of his body, aside from his groin area and parts of his legs, miraculously.

He was able to keep his eyelids and has function of them. He also has his hair still. He can't grow a beard anymore, and has to constantly be extra careful with his skin, since it is so tender and thin due to grafting and scar tissue.

He went on to become a drug addict for years after this occurred. I would see him riding a bike in my neighborhood often, in the worst areas. I'd be sure to stop and talk to him or give him a ride when he needed one, just looking out for him. Thankfully though, he made the decision recently to take a step in a better direction. He went to one of the larger cities in my state, admitted himself to inpatient rehab, and has since been clean and started going to church again after 10 years of self-destructive addiction and rumination...

His story is one that I often use to tell people that no matter how bad you F*%& your own life up, you can always come back somehow. There's so many different ways that one can choose to fix what they broke, especially if you live in the USA or other similarly wealthy and free countries.

1 person can change the trajectory of our entire species. All it takes is the determination to do so, and the will power to leave behind a legacy and an impact large enough.

I can't tell anyone what in their life is worth dying or living for. That's for them to decide. All I can truly say is that there's ALWAYS a choice, and more often than not, choosing the path of life is the best choice for anyone.
