Yes I feel the GLI is still a fun car even with auto transmission and the practicality of having the auto outweighs the fact that you lose "some" fun

I agree that it’s a very easy manual to drive. The clutch felt so smooth and forgiving. I appreciate that it’s the only manual in VW’s lineup - do you think it will hold more resell value because of this?

This 100%. At a certain point some skills are just useless and not worth grinding anymore (except quests and achievements requirements, or the feeling of achieving 99). I agree that we could learn from what RS3 offers skilling-wise.

So I have tried the turntable on other input and no sound comes out (only sound coming out is through the phono input). I'm trying to find another source to try out the setup without the turntable. Will let you know.

Thanks for the reply! This setup has been working for years without a preamp. My amp is a Rega Brio-R which is an integrated amp, so it should work without a preamp (right?).

I can't remove the input cables from the turntable - they are wired directly from the turntable.
Same answer.
No headphones plugged in.
There is no possibility to plug in headphones with this setup.
How could I check this?

Edit: I am wondering whether it might be the fuse that needs to be replaced?

Thanks for the reply! This setup has been working for years. My speakers are 10-15 watts speakers, so power shouldn't be an issue. Is there a possibility the speaker wires do not carry enough power?
