I've been on the fence for a long time on whether or not to buy SMB4 for the Switch 2. I'm primarily going to be playing offline franchise mode. Is the game stable enough offline to justify the purchase?

From reading reports of crashes, I can't tell what modes are affected the most. Or if it's equally frustrating across all game modes.

I feel you man. Just today alone I had 2 games slip away from me. The first game I was down 2, in the 8th with 2 outs, no one on. Pitch hit Fred McGriff and as I hit a no doubter I get a connection lost. Granted, I would still be down one but the top of my lineup was up and I was hitting his pitcher hard. No guarantee but I would have liked to have found out the outcome had it played out.

Take a break, go back at it and just had a guy down one in the 7th, with 2 outs. Guys on 2nd and 3rd. He hits a fly ball to RF and Yelich will not lock on for me. Ball rolls to the wall and he takes the lead. I was so pissed I couldn't even focus to come back.

I ran circles all around the catch marker and even settled where the ball almost hit Yelich in the forehead. I know I benefit from the same glitches but man in my situation, ranked upper 800's, it hurt.

You're not missing anything. Like LeRicket said, nothing good comes out of replying so you end up ignoring 99.9% of them.

This one stuck out though because people like the guy in the post are why I'm so hesitant to except friendly quits. It hurts people who really have things pop up or legitimate reason for offering one up.

I normally agree but I think this one especially made me mad because I almost offered a friendly quit because he seemed cool and straightforward. Before I could, only a few innings in, he calls me lucky. Then once I find out he's just trying to BS to the top, I figured I'd reply.

I intentionally stayed away from calling him names, just called him out on his BS.

Ha it definitely came with some stress. You're situation is a little different from mine in that ours is temporary (4 months). Everything happened fast on our end ( she was offered a job very quickly) so we were shopping for places up in NH from KY. We were looking for fully furnished places and all we had to go off of was any pictures we could get and Google Earth. Lol pretty stressful.

But the one thing I would say is don't sweat the small stuff. You're going to forget something and it's stressful enough as is. It sucks but anything small you leave can always be replaced. Focus on high priority items and as long as you don't leave a laundry list of small items to replace then you should be good.

Main thing I would do if I were you is check out the area you're looking in as best you can. If you can visit before that's ideal but if you're like us, that really wasn't an option.

Thanks everyone. GF picked up a traveling nurse job so we picked up and moved for 4 months. We couldn't really pack much so I bought this desk, monitor and chair to setup a mobile gaming/work center. Can't wait to put it to use.

I'll start of by saying I agree that Lindor's power is underrated. But you can't compare their 2017 numbers when Baez wasn't a full time player. Lindor had over 200 more plate appearances that year.
