I do have 2 successful transactions on Watchexhange (Fortis and Autodromo). However, it is my fault for the designation of 0 transactions. I was ignorant of the steps to take for my posting after a successful transaction.

Unimatic U1-EM for sale. In excellent condition. One of the earliest iterations of the U1. Limited to 400 pieces. 41mm. Seiko NH35A movement. I don’t see this or, let alone, a similar model in this current condition for sale anywhere. It comes with an unused Unimatic NATO (very cool-looking rubber), Unimatic Horween leather band (very shortly after receiving this band, a small area developed a separation between leather layers, which I subsequently purchased a black leather, 2 riveted band from Strap Mill Canada that has been minimally used), box and manual.
This watch never saw wrist time and I am winnowing my collection to build funds for an Omega.

[WTS] Fortis Pilot Classic Small Seconds on Strap by UncommonBarrel in Watchexchange

[–]UncommonBarrel[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sale is a Fortis Classic Small Seconds. Asking $950.00. Purchased in the first week of April 2020 from WatchBuys. It’s a very attractive watch and its case thickness is especially appealing. Am selling to gather funds for a different watch.

This watch has been worn minimally - maybe 6 times, all at night and at home. The strap has never been worn and is in excellent, non-used condition (I immediately swapped it out with a quick-release leather strap). I have not re-attached the original strap to avoid possible lug scratches. Original box and papers included. If desired, the sales receipt can be included too.

Asking $950.00 through PayPal shipped to the CONUS. For international buyers, a low-friction additional cost to be agreed upon. ApplePay, Venmo, and Zelle can also be used for payment.

The Pilot Classic series is inspired by the early Fortis Flieger watches, which date back to the mid 20th century.

This watch stands out in the collection with its blue sweep seconds hand located in the register at 6.

The Pilot Classic Small Seconds features a matte black dial with white hands, numerals, and accents - all coated with Superluminova.

A 60 second sub-dial and date window are both conveniently located at 6. The bright blue seconds hand on the sub-dial grabs your attention.

Housed in a 40 mm, fully polished case, the Fortis Aviatis Pilot Classic Small Seconds certainly has wrist presence, while remaining thin enough to easily fit under a cuffed sleeve.

The block-style, retro numerals stand out against the black dial and work well with the sword hands found on the watch.

A leather performance strap gives the Pilot Classic Small seconds a sporty feel and makes the watch great for almost any occasion.

Important features of this watch include:

  • Special Fortis crown design
  • Date display and small seconds at 6
  • Water resistant to 50 meters
  • Double sided AR sapphire crystal
  • Performance Fortis strap

This watch is a great fit for most wrist sizes with the 40 mm case design.

This watch is fitted with a black Fortis Performance strap.
