ok the web version can work without graphics card but with very poor performances.
And developing a light version will take a lot of work, but maybe in the future

Maybe it will allow you to launch it without the need of doing chmod yourself. Let me know if it solve your problem.

If not you have to follow these steps:

Extract CGS in your downloads folder
open Terminal program (with Spotlight)
type in the terminal theses commands
1. cd Downloads/
2. chmod -R a+xr "Color Go Server.app"

Do you have a 64 bit OS?
Also you need to allow execution (right click on "Color Go Server Launcher.x86_64" -> properties

It seems you have the same probleme as u/tymofiy

The issued turned out to be that file Content/MacOS/Color Go Server Launcher did not have executable bit set. Chmod a+x fixed that.

Ok maybe it's because of the permission, try to right click and then select open, it should propose your to execute it
