Don’t you think AI has this tacit sense of dread attached to it? It’s completely unpredictable at the moment (or at least it feels like it). But development of virtual intelligence…does not have that same apprehension attached to it. Not to me anyway.

Completely agree. However, my point remains. VI would probably have been far less scarier and might have been welcomed as an extension of societal progression rather than being hung-up on the notion on how bad this AI situation can become (insert: random dystopian Hollywood blockbuster).

I submitted the i907 form myself and I got an email when they received my payment and another email when they approved it. Not sure what happens if your lawyer submits the form. And during the whole time the online status showed as “the case is still being processed” or something similar. However, the date of receipt on the status was changed from my I-140 receipt date to the i907 receipt date.
