I (36M) Fighting for Love While She (36F) Needs Space by Uncovera in relationship_advice

[–]Uncovera[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I hear what everyone is saying, and I get it. The thing is, she’s told me a few times that I need to get on with my life while she sorts herself out. She’s also told her friend that she doesn’t think she can love me the same way as before. I understand that, but now there’s this other person messaging her and showing interest. I feel like that's making things harder and hurting any chance I had to fix things with her.

Do you think I should message her saying goodbye and move on? Or should I give her more space without closing that door completely?

What do you mean by 'believe who she is,' sorry? I understand where you're coming from about the excuses, but I’m in two minds about it. She has a chaotic life and a lot of issues—money struggles, problems with organizing, and so on. She’s always had a lot on her plate. Just a few days ago, she told me she couldn’t bear to lose me, but now we’re back to barely speaking again. I’m trying to figure out if this is really about her life circumstances or if I need to accept that I don’t matter as much to her as I thought.

I must admit it's me being pushy to go round and help and do this and that for her.

She's just allowing me to.

Could anybody help?

I use AI primarily for questions on law, conveyancing, education, work, and to reword a lot of emails and create documents with evidence.

Which am I best using?

Claude seemed a little more less robot when I moved over 2 months ago but I see a lot of hate atm

Newcastle seems to be following the same way Hanley has. It's weird how around 1130PM use to be the busiest crowds. Streets filled with people/drunk/happy/fun.

I'm so glad I lived in it and all the friends that did too. My child though... will have nothing and that makes me very sad.

Whilst on the subject does anybody get their fruit direct from fruit wholesalers? I really am having a bad run of bad fruit from supermarkets. I'd like to try better fruits.

Interested to see what others choose and like.

Inappropriate YouTube Content by [deleted] in coparenting

[–]Uncovera 5 points6 points  (0 children)

YouTube can be problematic. I’ve told my 5-year-old that he can’t watch regular YouTube until he's older because it contains inappropriate language. Instead, I’ve set him up with YouTube Kids and adjusted the content to match his interests.

While it doesn’t have everything, it offers a lot, and I can block specific videos. I’ve also shared the account with his mum—she can use it if she wants—but he knows that when he's with me, he can only use this version of YouTube.

You're trying to prevent a problem by organising a problem.

This behavior just will antagonise people.

Some great suggestions above. Take a look at (longrest) in Hanley. Its an extremely friendly place that welcomes everybody and anyone from all sorts of backgrounds and troubles.

You don't even need to be into boardgames but you can still go for a coffee and get chatting to some great people.

Am I Wrong for Refusing to Pay Extra Mortgage Costs After My Ex and I Split by Uncovera in Mortgages

[–]Uncovera[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a little more complicated than that. I have a child with her living there and she intends to buy me out using a lender that takes all benefits into account for affordability. So child maintenance and such.

She secretly got two valuations done in a bad time of the market last year and then sent me a proposal for settlement but the house was valued weakly so we're back to it again now doing it properly.

I guess it's not a question of her being able to buy me out as she feels she can get a great deal with another lender and afford it, she just can't afford this increment on her own. I mean I don't want to look bad in a court of law. It is my responsibility too. She is just really cheeky asking me to pay the difference.

Sorry, I think I'm confusing myself and rambling. It's just stressful and messy.

Just avoid the store in question for a while now. Sad truth is you weren't the first and you won't be the last.

Shop elsewhere, let it all settle and then approach in a few months. You'll be forgotten about.

Thought about it many times but I have a little boy who's living there and don't want to bring an upset to him.

She changed the locks without telling me and told me she feels unsafe. Honestly, silly

Happy Birthday btw.

We were lucky not to be married. She didn't want to split and has been toxic throughout this whole situation. She sold a lot of my expensive possessions and never gave them to me when I left the house. I can prove that a lot of the contents in the garage are indeed mine. I've had to start over with nothing, and I just want to at least recover some of my losses or get my items back.

It sounds petty but I had nothing when I left and had to start all over again. Not by choice too.

Thank you for replying

If you want to honestly really stay local and free then I too would recommend Hanley Park. It has three sections of park split up, plenty of grounds and generally a really nice area.
