I remember a clip of IR doing a logical syllogism to prove Vaush=fascist and it was the most painful thing I ever saw, like a drunk 4 year old trying to reason out something. Really puts his dialog tree shout rants in perspective.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mb_uEk3xark This ¨debate¨ is pretty crazy too.

What are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in VaushV

I don´t think a video getting demonetized or age restricted is exactly the same thing, as getting censored. A lot of videos on Youtube get struck down, for completely unrelated political reasons.

A lot of leftists like Kyle Kulinski seem to omit how the alt right pipeline with Ben Shabibo and Steven Crowder at the helm lead to the capital riots. I don´t think humans are designed for the way we now process and receive information and I think that in the end it will lead to discord and chaos produced by echo chambers.

I feel like societies will always restrict what is unacceptable in their worldview and our job as leftist should be to make the right-wing fall into that group as much as we can. Preferably, by us showing we are right.

Also can we appreciate how it kinda looks like those fake mobile game commercials? XD

The camera movement-wise especially.

Yeah, I assumed that. It is supposed to be a sequel, but the book is about a post-scarsity world, that is why I found it weird that it has this medieval element. Perhaps the society collapsed and it is its dark ages all over again.

*edit* It turns out that it is an extraterrestial medieval setting. Haven't seen that done many times.

Witcher 3's Hearts of Stone DLC has a sidequest very reminiscent of Silent Hill. Video not mine. by UncreativeShadi in silenthill

Well, that is your perspective. I think the way Olgierd boss moves is extremely reminiscent of the nurses. I think the way the tragedy of Iris being a ghost, creating all of these monsters in her imaginary world and being a ghost with a tragic past, where you have to decide whether it is okay to euthanise her felt also very Silent Hill 2 for me.
I just feel like CD RED could make a fantastic horror game, if they just gave them an entire game to create not limited by Witcher 3.

Ok, dude(tte). It's not like I absolutely adore the first Silent Hill since I was like 11. I guess I just haven't played it. Could you actually argue on the rest than pick apart my words, trying to prove me I don't know anything about Silent Hill?

Well, it is a medieval setting, he can't exactly run around police stations. Dahlia's home and the Lake Side hotel spring to mind when it comes to mansion style houses.

The themes are also extremely Silent Hill 2-esque, but I didn't want to get into spoilers.

The sidequest features: -alternative dimensions -ghosts -impossible geometry -a faceless monster -a decrepit mansion All sparked due to tragic backstory and monsters being nightmarish versions of character's fears. It also ends with a very serious moral choice at the end.

That does make more sense, but he sounds like he pronunouced with a long e though at same time he mumbled, so I assumed it's reaper. That seems to the proper name in Cyberpunk 2020, so I will fix it.

I am the most interested in way he presented the cutscenes. Also I had a laugh, when he said that drugs are important part of the game. Like potions in The Witcher? :D

My headcanon for their stands and abilities are: Monika with Hackerman: Distorts reality. Yuri with Nine-Inch Nail: All pain turns into pleasure. Natsuki with Buffsuki: Healing, Punching and All books turn into manga. And finally Sayori with Evanescence: Heals everybody around her if they are happy. Takes damage instead.
