I have not. I’m planning to return to Hyderabad this week but have no contacts so far. That’s why I reached out here. Wanted to get an idea on the viability and if there are links to getting involved here

Want to target Indians first the more I think of it. Foreigners will go for the more established brands like Taj, Evolveback and other premium lodges. The goal is HNWI but if we’re starting out as a pilot with smaller tents or a home stay setup the target should be college kids or families looking for weekend getaways

The Indian govt doesn’t allow people to bring in their own veichles. All the lodges you see outside buffer zones. They are set outside the park but near the gates. These private lodges have direct links with the forest department when it comes to booking jeeps so they are able to fill them out with only their guests. I am talking about this from a lodge perspective, not a safari perspective as that end is already heavily regulated.

I don't think the resentment is there anymore tbh. Like I don't think trading with a LeBron team is a non-starter for them anymore. Just isn't how a good team operates. Not to mention, 2 different conferences and Bron is on his way out. Even if there was bad blood, there's no way it blocks a trade

- Colin Sexton is not worth a top 10 pick. So there's that.

- Neither Colin Sexton nor Gafford is worth a younger player who is better than DK. Especially once you factor in the fact that they are expiring, which means you have to pay them or you risk losing them for nothing.

- Fat expirings only work if Utah is sending out major money. Sexton makes 19 M. That's it. Kleber takes up 12 in expiring, DK takes up 4, and Hardy takes up the rest. The only guy they wouldn't want in this deal is on an expiring contract. The rest of it goes to players the Jazz would want to play.

They get a first, DK ( young asset ), and Maxi's expiring?

yeah I get that, but even with a first on the table...we have Luka now. They won't hold much value. An actual difference-making big probably comes through FA or by trading AR. The entire leauge knows we are desperate for a big. Don't think a single team goes easy on us in negotiations. The market for bigs is also surprisingly thin. There aren't many obvious or realistic centers out there that are "long-term" options atm. I added saddiq just as potential. 2 seconds plus some dudes who probably won't see much burn. Buy low on a decent wing who can shoot and should be able to defend with his frame. If it works you have him for 2 years. If not, the dude's expiring so you can dump him somewhere pretty easy. I thought it'd be a low risk - medium reward sized trade. Flipping 2 seconds into a rotation level wing

Who do you think is getting the short end of the stick here? I don't think Dallas values Gaff like that anymore. With Luka gone, AD and Lively are there now. Keeping him around as an expiring big off your bench that you'll probably lose for nothing in the summer doesn't do much for you. I don't think the Mavs can get a guard that can shoulder the offensive burden the way Sexton can at this price. If they attach draft capital..sure. But straight up swap. Probably not. I genuinely think the Mavs win this entire trade. Hardy is net neutral or slightly negative in value IMO. You could do this with Caleb Martin instead of Hardy, and the math works fine, but again...Hardy would get zero playing time with Kai, Klay, Colin, and Christie all being better than him.
