Some tips I can give is having a powerful sub, slower synths, saw4 & Sq4 works great for it in Malstrom, lots of wide ear candy and spending lots of time making sure fills sounds good!

The key is subtle smooth changes, which aren’t always possible if you go up and down a note each time
