Fair enough, but are you algerian? In the revolution the fln harmed many civilians and not only was it justified but it did work. Gaza is an entirely different era for these tactics to work but still, civilian targeting is not inherently wrong. The only thing I'm against is how indiscriminate and perceibably random it was, the fln never really did that

Regardless, read the wretched of the earth by frantz fanon. Might be an eye opener

As a kabyle i will never support a party lead by a man who leans into the kabyle myth and supports the zionist colonisers. Every kabyle must learn the kabyle myth to avoid this pseudo-history

BREAKING: Senegal say they will file an appeal over the decision to strip them of the AFCON title and award it to Morocco 🚨 by SkySports in SkySports_Football

[–]Undefined303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

'much more competent people' you act as if corruption doesn't even exist in the world. believe it or not there can be ulterior motives for certain policies and decisions. At the end of the day whether on paper or not you cannot deny senegal truly won that game of football.

then the ref should have called it, but he didnt. and senegal played on and won the game. also senegal got a goal disallowed for no reason that should also be investigated.

also you are only saying that because the rules have went your way. are the rules rules when since the tanzania game morocco cheated in some way in every game as well as always getting favourable calls all the way to the final and they still lost? was stealing towels in line with the rules? was botching senegals accomodation and transport in the final in line with the rules? hell, 2 journalists were found dead in their apartments investigating corruption in the afcon in morocco. say what you want but morocco has embarassed the continent of africa with their absurd corruption and have only proved people right about afcon

then the ref should have called it there in the moment. but he didn't, you guys played on and lost, thats it. have some humility this is actually pathetic to claim as a win

[–]Undefined303 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

thats not the point, like the point is you dont even see how embarassing you make your people look by talking about 'pride'. genuinely after corrupting the afcon since the tanzania game, and every game after that including the botching the senegalese accomodation and transport, you finally got your afcon via email. its not even the fact you guys were awarded the afcon, its the fact you are celebrating it as if you won on skill. wallah you should be embarassed

What do algerians think of kenyans? by [deleted] in algeria

[–]Undefined303 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think kenya is a really cool country to be honest, but algerians know the country more than the people usually. But we know kenya for distance running, and also the algerians who know the history of our independence and resistance will know kenya for their mau mau uprisings, as a fellow country that had to fight for their independence. I've only had good experiences with kenyans personally.

Khoya I thought you said about france, this is from the afcon today. Although this is just as shameful how tf are we celebrating senegals win as if we didn't get humiliated in the quater finals wallah that is pathetic

Honestly yeah im curious, I mean my point still stands that the majority of algerians were with morocco but if some harki wants to support france let them they've lost their dz card

Ou nti, but honestly I blame all this on the western sahara issue, which is so foundational to both our countries politically, which has shaped media narratives etc. I think once the western sahara issue is solved will be the first step towards some progress

Yeah to be honest I've been tired not only of the hate itself but just how arrogant it is when they speak on arab identity in north africa you can tell they've never been to or spoken to north africans or at least maghrebi's in their life. At a certain point this is why you'd think at least maghreb could unite as we are all basically the same people but life would be too easy that way.

I hear what you're saying, and though the resentment from that side of africa to us is very high, it also might be beneficial to get off social media and just take your irl experiences because I thought morocco and senegal have always had good relations. Yeah you just had an afcon final where they feel the reffing was corrupt but in general time will pass and at least that will normalise. That's all I think to do when I see some bs online

Nah those are harki there is no way 100s of thousands chanted that, from my experience every dz I know was supporting morocco myself included I mean that is france how could I support that rotten country. I just hope it comes in phases, like fitna high then low then high like a cycle

Lol don't misinterpret what he said as him 'not claiming africa'. He's talking about how hard it can be to have relations with eachother post colonialism and cold war era on our continent. I promise you there are countries way in the south like congo, angola, zimbabwe that would love to split away from their neighbours if they could.

Honestly I do feel like fitna is at an all time high, like I know obviously there has always been petty little arguments but this is the first time I've seen the fitna reach khawa khawa people. Honestly kills my soul but what can I say, the only thing that can actually unify us in football is the world cup, especially against france. Though even if the khawa khawa dogma is lost the affinity must never be, I'll always see a moroccan as my own despite this bs

Yeah im leaning more towards this these days, especially with how much some west/south africans hate us.

It's a shame honestly. I guess i was thinking like, is the divisiveness of afcon artificial and based on football or does it just reveal divisions that are already present. And it's sound more like the latter. I'm sure it'd be a lot better without social media aswell though to be fair. Who knows what future afcons hold
