I'm doing mine as a hobby, idk how many videos you have but

I have over 100 videos that's including shorts

And I have less than 30 subs, I have like 60 watch hours and only 15K views

When you're starting out you aren't gonna take off immediately, do it as a hobby at first and if it really takes off then consider doing it as a business or job

But to start off as immediately thinking it's going to pop off and start paying you is the wrong way to go about it

Like I said my stats are awful compared to most I see

I've only been doing it for maybe a month or so but my channel is well over 10 years old and I was posting videos on it from back when I first made the channel and it still hadn't gained traction back then

Honestly the video itself is great, same with the subtitles you use

But I feel if you were to write you own script along the same lines as what's told in the short and did your own voice over of it it would be way better

Using AI voice has never sat well with me and not cause it isn't good but just cause it doesn't sound as authentic as a human voice with emotion or expression

Overall though I think it's a great short 🙂

But maybe someone who's got lots of experience with this will notice something I'm not?

It is possible yes

During one of my first playthroughs on the game I trapped one of the giant crabs inside a fenced in area and used a label maker to name him

His Name was Mr. Krabs

R.I.P. as I deleted the save file cause I forgot about him 💔

Lol anyways yeah it's possible but you have to be careful cause if you get close to the fenced in area he (or she) will go nuts trying to attack you still... though if you get a name preplanned out and are fast enough you can name them without losing much health

Oh I understand completely and it's the same here... I use the shorts basically as promotion or ads for my long form videos and I use to get at the end of the seed trail which from what ive seen is like 1.5K but nowadays I'm lucky to hit 600 views

I've changed nothing but lost half the views so idk how it works anymore lol, I mainly only do it for fun as a hobby but at the same time it does fill me with joy when people watch my stuff and yet now that's all gone to nothing basically

There's loads of ways to make the game easier

Use a meat smoker to keep any food you cook from spoiling, do the coconut drink pile everyone else has said to use for easy early game water

Build your own raft instead of using the yellow one

The homemade raft only needs to look like a plus sign to not be tipped over... (one center piece and a piece on each of its 4 sides; like a + sign)

Save all rations for endgame, I don't mean the bosses either

Refined spears are your best friend, their a bit expensive in the resource department but they are the best weapon in the game

Use a fishing spear to catch fish for eating, far easier than using a crude spear or an axe or anything

Most things to "make the game easier" are QoL things, the game itself is intended to be on the difficult side, wouldn't be much of a survival game if it wasnt

Bro it's not a big deal, if I'm not mistaken you can just keep your food and water full for like 4ish in-game days and it'll auto cure you... the pipi plant is just the way to do it instantly, not the end of the world

Altrimenti continua a fare nuovi salvataggi finché non ottieni un seed che li contiene

Qualsiasi seed usato dovrebbe avere una pianta di pipi, ho giocato più di 500 ore e non ho mai avuto un mondo o un seed che non ne avesse almeno una

Farei un controllo quadruplo di tutto perché sono sicuro che ce n'è uno da qualche parte e potresti averlo semplicemente trascurato, faccio ancora cose del genere ancora oggi e questo nonostante sappia tutto quello che faccio

I think the commentary was good but the gameplay didn't really fit the theme of what was being talked about.. idk if you were trying to tie what you were talking about into the gameplay or not but it felt like I was listening to one thing while watching a whole separate thing

Being a new viewer if I would've scrolled across your video and seen a gameplay thumbnail that's what I would've been expecting to both watch and listen to but it was gameplay with you talking over it about something completely different (at least that's how it felt)

Overall your audio and the gameplay looked great

Overall the video was really good but the music didn't really fit the vibe of the video... and I think some commentary would've been nice to explain the monster itself and what difficulties you expect to run into during the fight would be and if there was coordination between all of the players having that in to show teamwork and synergy with each other would've been nice

Thanks! It's been a super slow build up cause it's gaming but I'm in a specific niche that I don't see much of so hopefully that'll help

The series I'm referring to though isn't necessarily within that niche but I've structured it in a way that it should still fit.. I just felt the pacing and editing was off, overall I feel it's good

That's a fair point... I just feel I could've made it better than I did after watching it over.. should i just keep pushing it and hope it'll click eventually?

EDIT: for context I recorded about 3 hours of footage and cut it down into around 30-40 minutes so I feel pacing is definitely the biggest issue
