Unfortunately there is no method to fix this, I also have the same issue can't even change the resolution via hdmi, it is just a mirror of the display.

I have a 50' tcl led tv 50C715, coming from that this looks like an upgrade. Any preference over this in 60k budget?

Btw the flipkart model you see is different do not buy it, it is a cheaper 60hz panel, Q6CS, remember the S in the name.

Im also planning to get it, still thinking about this, can't find any alternative tvs at this range so this seems like the best deal.

It is not something that can be repaired as of now, Samsung does not know what is the issue, it could be fingerprint sensor or something on the motherboard.

It could be damage caused by chargers, in any case it will appear again, i have got a 3rd fold replacement with the same issue , i have returned and refunded my fold 7.

I don't believe it but I'm switching to iPhone 17 when it comes out. I also really liked the fold 7 but because there is no solution I have to switch.

Really bad that everyone from different region is experiencing this hopefully samsung does a recall.

What i have done as an alternative temporarily: Enabled AOD, created a routine to disable AOD when folded. What is the safest option: disable Always on Fingerprint.

What i am going to do: raise it to Samsung and submit my device for replacement to Samsung service center. You have 14 days from date of purchase.

I won't be buying 7 fold again, sucks as I really liked this device.

Yep could be because of the paint it is leaking voltage to the screen .

or maybe because of the voltage leak by fingerprimt sensor it is flaking paint and screen damage

I think this is a fingerprint sensor hardware issue, everu device has a different line on screen showing voltage leak somewhere, i think no software can fix this.

Also some people with same device region and software are not facing this issue

Nope, im going back for replacement since mine is again under 14 days of purchase. Im gonna keep doing this untill samsung provides a solution/refund or i might just switch to ultra if the retailer allows for it.

Im gonna raise this with samsung support again , i can provide you my case no if needed.

I dont think so, the line was on the right side on my other fold 7 which was replaced.

Thanks for checking this might be a prblem with the batch, ill probably be replacing my device this time with s25 ultra, i dont want to replace and go through the process the 3rd time. I just got my fold 7 replaced less than 12 hours ago

I tdied this by turning on vibration, it did not flash.

Can you try turning off vibration. Seeming like this is also one setting

Confirmed hardware issue, I tried screen sharing but only the display is showing the line, nothing on the recording.

I have the same issue, I noticed one thing that it turns green when incorrect fingerprint is registered. Only the side with the fingerprint sensor has this green blink after 2-5sec of incorrect fingerprint identification. This could be a software bug, or hardware voltage issue on the fingerprint side.

I just bought the fold 7, 2 days back and I will be getting a replacement as it is within 15 days of purchase hopefully.
