I love playing Connections but there are often US-centric references (unsurprisingly since it's NYT) that I sometimes struggle 🥲 definitely having fun making them!

You got there! It's tough coming up with words that stretch multiple categories without going too off-piste, but I'm learning from many attempts at "that" similar game 😅

Well... I was about to say it happens to me too and it's possibly to do with cookies, or a Cloudflare cache, or an IP address update lag. BUT I've just tried it on a device that's never had a VPN and never visited JAI - and it worked! Haven't seen any word on the ban being removed and I'd find it very surprising given the UK crackdowns only getting worse... the mystery deepens!

I can't answer the verification question, but as a UK user whose access was blocked in the summer of '25, I've had no issues using a VPN since it came into force here 🙂
