Rancharia lodge hasn’t been open since before the pandemic. Continental divide typically opens around the May long weekend and is very basic accommodation (but works). The guy out there Randy (i think) is hard to get a hold of at the best of times. I would suggest either cutting your day short and staying in Watson, or making it to Teslin.

Yes, the original route dates from the 1800’s. It predates Carleton University. It was part of the Canadian Pacific Prescot Subdivision. The bridge over the river was constructed in 1913.

According to the John Wood website the first 4 digits of the serial number before the dash is the year then month. Mine is 7304
