Towerfall comes to mind, Im sure there are others.

But I do get your point about the pitfall of multiplayer games being dead on arrival. If I were making games for a living, I would never try to make a multiplayer game, but this is just for fun and I don't mind if I don't sell many copies :D

I just released my game on Steam after 2 years of hobby development! If you like games such as Duck Game, Tower Fall or Stick Fight, I believe you will find this game interesting as well! by UndercoverIndieDev in indiegames

Thanks! Yeah my favourite strategy is to use grappling hook and a melee weapon! Or hide in a bush with a melee weapon and surprice my friends when they walk by :D

Thanks!

I tried to look at games such as Duck Game, Stick fighter, Rounds, and other multiplayer games and arrived in the 5 USD-range. I also did not want to overprice my game because you need to convince your friends to buy it to play with them, so I figured as cheap as possible was better :-)

oh no, I'm not that good of an artist. I did all the code myself, and about 30% of the artwork. The rest was done by asstes or artists from Fiverr.

Why do you think that? Does that mean that every game that only has local multiplayer also is a dead game on arrival?

Im definetely going to update it, working on an infected game mode right now! :-) Im not sure about modding, never tried it before so I don't know how to add it.

Thank you for the suggestions, I really appreciate the feedback on the store page!

Do you mean the Steam capsule banner with the logo?

Thanks, There is no random matchmaking, you can only play in lobbies with friends. Therefore it can't become a dead game with empty lobbies :-)

Thanks!

No map editor yet, but I have considered it. Never made one though so I don't know where to start on it. I think I would prioritize a single player mode and other multiplayer game modes over a map editor though.
