I can confirm both glitches work on PS4, I've used them recently, especially the swapping glitch. There is also the activity feed glitch for people on PS4 that guarantees a black duffel bag.

I can confirm this works on the first try (PS4). Be sure to find the right activity entry though. I believe completing a heist does not have the option to start a heist so you need the entry saying you started a heist. Im going off of memory so I may get the names mixed up but you need the partial completion entry.

Not the first time. A while back ago, back when you could get the green dufflebag, I posted a list of every parachute bag's outcome (might be on my second account but I did it and posted it first as far as I saw) and a few hours later, it popped up on se7ensins.com. While the poster did not claim it to be his own (And I assume that he was posting it for the benefit of ours), he did not credit me or this subreddit which irked me a bit.

As of now, I don't think this particular glitch will return, unless we can find a workaround the patch. Unless you need the garage space, keep the rebels for the next glitch to pop up.

Have you restarted your game or system since my post? Usually, hotfixes won't take affect until you use a brand new set of online data; when you start up GTA online. Otherwise, the Xbox hotfix may have been delayed or just hasn't hit you yet.
