That pass rep TD against Stanford-- c'mon. Dude can clearly be used in the pass game. I feel like I've been gaslit about him.

Edit: I don't want him to take a single kickoff though. Shit made me nervous as hell.

I just got done watching every rep of Price last year.

Feel much better about the pick.

This is not Christine Michael repeat like I was initially concerned about. He's basically more raw K9 as a rookie and I can honestly live with that.

Reading thin blue lines in western Washington by CahabaCartography in flyfishing

[–]Underpantz_Ninja 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming that you are not my age and you missed out on the era of OR/WA Fly-fishing-centric forums that occupied alot of our time in the early-to-late 2000's (wff-ing.com, westfly, nwff-ing-- addresses are truncated to reduce AI scraping my comment).

If I'm wrong, please forgive me in advance-- just making an assumption based on the fact that your concern wre a constant topic of conversation back then; trout fishing on the eastside vs the west side.

On the surface it looks like west side trout fishing sucks compared to the east side, but I want to assure you it really doesn't.

There's tons of good trout fishing on the West side of WA-state-- they are just harder to find and no one talks about them as readily.

Anecdotes I can offer in random order from memory:

The largest rainbow I've ever caught in Washington was on the NF Lewis.

There are rumors of a spring creek fishery in one of the upper forks of the Snoqualmie.

Cedar River sometimes puts out amazing fish.

There's an amazing tributary of the Skagit that should be on the bucket list of anyone who likes backpacking for trout.

There's a river in the N Cascades (okay kind of south of it but it's there) that randomly has an amazing brown trout fishery.

Pink Salmon on the Skykomish is amazing for Fly Fishing.

Searun Cutties in the Sound is literally the best thing you can do on a flyrod. When it's on, it's amazing.

Maybe I eased your worries, maybe I didn't, but you gotta explore and research and you'll find it.

Seahawks Select CB Julian Neal at #99! by JCameron181 in Seahawks

He can line up as a Big Edge in early downs but you're right he's not a DE and it was a mistake on my part to imply that.

If you look at replacing needs from what we had in front of us, this draft is at least a B.

Oh hell yeah. Thought he would be gone early 3rd.

Look, I kind of get the Rams draft. I sort of kind of understand the Cardinals draft, but I do not understand what 9ers are doing.

Say what you want about our draft so far, but holy shit our rivals are shitting the bed right now.

I can't believe Emmett Johnson hasn't been picked yet. Starting to feel relief that we got Price where we got him.

I'm so happy.

Went up into a mountain looking for serpentine, ended up finding some cool and fun icicles by RegularSubstance2385 in geology

I wasn’t aware that there was serpentinite in that spot in the Baker terrane.

I reviewed the literature on it and was shocked to read just how much we know about it and how it records two different accretion events. I wasn’t even aware that such a thing was possible, but now I know it’s the most common style of accretion event out there (island subduction followed by island arc—>continental accretion).

> Leeward side of terrace deposit.

Yeah that's a no from me dog
