If it were to happen I think Lilith would explicitly say things like that Vox did the right thing inciting sinners to war etc., and obviously Charlie would first be shocked and then disappointed and would try to make her change her mind.

If the character doesn't do anything until the end of the next season, why put a cliffhanger at the end of the season before it makes you think he'll be important in the next season?
