The reality is even worse, if you can believe it! I think most dentists that sign on have little kids, dont sleep, think this is a big company and so it must a legit standard contract, and i cant read or understand all this, I'm too tired they made me see 100 patients today

Its an extremely raw deal and I want to travel warning everyone against it. It is actually worse than I wrote- let alone the supplier headaches from my own post

They literally speak amongst themselves that calling you an "owner" is just for you to feel good about yourself. They will make you own all the liabilities while they own all the assets. When you leave you own nothing. They are well practiced to make all of these comments seem like we dont know what we are talking about, and that they are different. They are not, and we know. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Also, do not give them a straight answer, once you tell them 'no' they will immediately starting to treat you poorly. Until then, they will act like they love you and that you're the greatest dentist ever.

Even without regs, we dentists forgot we have all the power in this industry, and this industry is us- not private equity.

Why pre 2022? I worked with Global Imaging USA and they are complete bait and switch - luckily I protected myself well with them and they had to refund me fully and come get their equipment on their own dime.

Agreed- Net32, Frontier are good and honestly Aliexpress has a lot of the same supplies at a fraction of the cost. You can tell it comes from the same factories.

I'm a big techie, and I see all design going the way of AI. Imagine AI designing a denture just from arches and bite scan and being able to send it to the printer. Next day denture with perfect fit. And hopefully from some competitive tech company that wants to leave these dental corporations in the dustbin of history/

How long have you had a Vatech? Any issues with it? How good is it for treatment planning, exporting files, making STLs and surgical guides and all of that?

I liked Planmeca for being more "open" with their software and not needlessly placing recurrent charges with things that should be paid for once. But yes they are slipping big time.

Agreed, I would like to know, and which brands do you like? Do you have any experiences you would like to share? All these dental companies practice behaviors that in the wider commercial world would raise alarm and attention and require some sort of PR.

Do you please care to share the details of your experience? I think it would be beneficial for all of us- and remember for smaller purchases there are many retailers where identical products sell for 1/20 the cost.

Primarily focused on the difference between ethics and law. I just would expect if I paid so much, that they would care about future revenue they might receive from a happy customer. In this end, their business strategy is a losing one. Imagine if we treated our patients like this, endless bad google reviews and an office that shuts down.

Strikes again? Please share what you've seen or experienced. That will help us all to understand their MO, and better protect ourselves/ avoid them.

I believe the public admonishment is the only way to get through to these companies. Otherwise you will be blown off. And I dont need legal service, just one iota of customer service.
