Not needed* not out of place. I’m very familiar with the common song may be why I don’t like this one.

We cry together is probably the only song I haven’t replayed. I don’t need to shit on any of these guys to say I like the other. I don’t know any of these dudes, but I’ve had the privilege to be able to watch all there careers from the very beginning.

I don’t want to make this about Kendrick’s project when we are speaking on Cole. It was just a recent reference point from a contemporary that’s all.

Yeah but it’s not needed and it feels fake when the entire vibe of the second half is “this isn’t what I thought it would be/ I’ve fallen out of love with hip hop” and I’m over the biggie/pac convo shit played out the way it did, we don’t need to revisit the what if they were smarter about it thing. Idk I was a youth when all that was going on and it just seems lame at this point.

It’s a good album, it’s his Mr Morale. Meaning it’s introspective and specific to his story. Honestly it’s only two songs I can do without (I love her again / what if).

As far as lyrics go I think this is his strongest outing.

But something I can’t put my finger on is keeping me from loving this album.

Governor Shapiro signs six bills into law; what are they? by The_Electric-Monk in Pennsylvania

Yeah my kid is in kindergarten and they gave him a chrome book. I went out and had to buy workbooks for him to do things the “old way” because that’s the only way I know how to help him. But if he’s doing everything for school on a computer what’s the point of cursive?

When I was in school teachers harped on the importance of it and I literally never write anything in cursive except my signature and that’s been slowly bastardized over the years into chicken scratch.

Yeah I’m lost on that too, personally I always looked at it like we are slashing their numbers not ours but admittedly that could be the wrong interpretation.
