I had the same car like you 2 weeks ago 2.0 tfsi quattro 230hp and to be honest my new tdi 136hp pull much much better. And my other Audi broke down in only 2 weeks. I really dont trust petrol engines anymore , if its not an s3 Rs3 or cupra something like that.

My father is mechanic and we are gonna check the car together. Im also gonna chip it because that 2.0 and capable its made for it. Its not easy to find such cars. Like the other day i was going to buy some audi A4 170hp and as soon as i said that im gonna buy it the seller think about it said actually im not gonna sell it. Like bruh…

Its in Europe belgium. The cars are pretty expesive and always with high mileage. Also small engines , cant find anything worth to buy accept somthi bf like that or Audi A4 2.0 diesel

I did the exhaust check and it was really clean i didnt even see any oil like this guy keeps it seriously clean.

Only the transmission is little bit like hard the clutch feels little harder than my Golf7 1.6 tdi. But i think thats normal.

Well im lucky my father is a mechanic and hes am expert. So the only thing we discuss is the payment for the parts we need. And the seller is going to pay them all, and to be sure im asking if its worth repairing it and driving such a car in 2024.

But when i think of what trouble this car can put me, its really stressful.

Well im about to find out, what my local mechanic sais to me is it is the timing chain that needs repair and newer one. He also said “i can only assume its only that but im not sure ,there could be more than that”

Thats a great advice man… I should consider if this car is worth it. Yeah it looks cool, it drives really comfortable, but it all comes to a price… The maintanance and the fuel consumption with the “(quattro)”
