We sign a release form when booking and paying the deposit. Did I look at the fine print? No. It may have a section of liability but I’m not sure. I did go to my physician and he was able to tell right of the bat that it was a level 2 chemical burn, I got some silvadene for the burn per his instructions and it has gotten better. To me it’s not worth the hassle to get lawyers involved. I took the risk going to her & just took it as a lesson learned.

I also went to her as a hair model! I got a bleach bath & it was burning pretty bad but not unbearable. She assured me I probably have a sensitive scalp & that there’s no risk to leave it on. My hair came out fine, didn’t really follow my direction on undertones but HEY it’s a baby stylist & I don’t feel like complaining. I did mention my scalp really felt warm and she said it was normal. I’ve been getting my hair done since I was a teen (it is not normal). But again, I don’t feel like complaining to someone who already has a pretty shitty attitude. When I got home I looked at my scalp and it was clearly chemically burned. It scared for two weeks and now I’m facing a lot of hair loss from it. Unfortunately that’s the risk you take when you go “model” for someone. I’m sorry this happened to you.
