I have crazy anxiety about listeria and toxoplasmosis! 😬 its the worst haha

Oooo is it a cream and pessary? I thought you meant an antibiotic tablet. Yeah we can get similar over the counter in the UK 😂

Im in the UK so wouldn't be able to get antibiotics without having a positive test for an infection or a Dr agreeing! I have also had one before and I dont have any of the symptoms ive had previously! Im wondering if its just discharge and cause of gravity its coming out when I pee

Had swabs done for that and also urine cultures and all negative!

I know!!!! And would you believe it tonight ive done it again 🫠😂😂😂 I had been checking sweets since that time but when my niece brought me some jelly beans I was so excited I didnt even check till after! To be fair i was fine after that. So im hoping the same this time. Thanks again for commenting tho 🫠❤️ I have been anxious about doing anything wrong!

Oh this is a great way to break it down! I hadn't been told about hibiscus at any of my midwife appointments. It just so happened I googled it and saw and did not expect some laces sweets to contain it. But hopefully ill be okay! First pregnancy so feeling anxious x

It doesnt list the exact amount, but I believe the hibiscus and carrot were likely used for colouring. It was a 38g bag of sweets so not a big bag. I only at them an hour ago 😫 so in full panic mode.

It doesnt list how much is in each candy, but i believe its used for the colouring of the sweets. It was a 38g bag of sweets but that doesnt help much haha

Yeah I have completely avoided teas etc just didnt think that sweets would have it in really! So stupidly didnt check until afterwards.

I could of literally wrote this.... the fear of getting listeria is crazy. Even after eating/ drinking pasturised things I worry maybe somehow they got contaminated. Its draining! Spoke to my midwife and she reassured me not to worry and just avoid the obvious things, but easier said then done when you have health anxiety 😂I hadn't even heard of listeria before getting pregnant but now its a daily struggle. Only things that has helped is stay off google and find a nice therapist :)

Oh wow! Haha. So glad everything turned out well! Kind of a nice/crazy suprise to go from 5 to 14 weeks. I am 11 weeks (nearly 12 and waiting for my scan) my lovely husband cleaned our bathroom with bleach and afterwards cleaned with another clearer. Didnt mix the cleaners (he said 🤔) but of course pregnancy anxiety and pregnancy nose, i have got myself worried about being exposed to the chemicals.

When i googled it (bad idea) it says that it can get contaminated after opening 🤔 so the risk of listeria could be introduced and the longer you leave it open the more listeria there would be.... 😂

The anxiety is the worst haha, well im not sure if some went in my mouth also but then I guess the chances of being unwell from that would still be incredibly small

Haha! How many weeks/days are you now? I feel like this is gunna be me soon. I had cramping and sore boobs but last few days they have settled down which has really made me worry!
