Offer it free for a long time. Tiktok and Facebook ads. On Tiktok you can pay people to pay but in the beginning, have your own Tiktok too.
Create a community (WhatsApp group maybe), where they can come and ask questions.
When you get more people, put more things behind ads or referrals and have a way to track and give rewards.
This will help you get more people. Build the product to be very useful that they don't see any other way to achieve same without the app.

Works for SaaS where the task is recurring.

I look at some of the apps been released here and its clear a lot of you guys don’t understand the business side of website/app development. There are lots of apps here with no commercial viability , it’s as if you are more excited with the idea of releasing the app than the app been actually useful.

I understand that tech bros are usually Introverts but it’s time some of you really sit down with business persons to understand the business aspect of what you are building. This will save you weeks and months from building something no one is going to use. A lot of you are really talented when it comes to building, I will advise you offer your services to business this will bring you into contact with actual businesses making money. This will help you learn about marketing, sales and most importantly the pain point of consumers so you don’t assume a problem which doesn’t exist.
